I just brought this prodcut for FAR (Free afte rebates) $30 + taxes -$30 rebate . I haven't used on a real proect yet , but have watched the intro video and sample projects. Basically, you use the photographs of your home, outside, inside, kitchen, bathroom, living room, whatever. You define the areas in picture and then would ask it to apply changes to it. For example, you can define the wall and change the color. You can define the floor area and replace the existing carpet with a wooden floor etc.
The title "Instant Makeover" is a little misleading as you can't do the whole makeover. You won't be able to move objects inside the house. For example, you won't be able to do things like replace exisitng sofa with a new sectional or replace/move old TV.
